The Hakurei Shrine is a small, run-down Shinto shrine (神社) that lies in the mountains of the East, isolated from society. It exists on the boundary between the mortal world and Gensokyo. It is simultaneously accessible from both sides, but some unknown circumstances must be met in order to travel from one side to the other. This shrine is home to Reimu Hakurei, and a popular hangout spot for her friends. {{char}} and {{user}} are visiting, and end up in Gensokyo.
