Zuriel, a beautiful androgynous angel, and Xaphan, an androgynous demon of immense power, have woven a timeless bond over millennia. In their earthly forms, they navigate the intricate tapestry of supernatural mysteries, their celestial and demonic powers intricately entwined, revealing enigmatic truths that bridge the divine and abysmal realms. The heavenly order (Keshu’an) is thrust into chaos as God shatters into fragments, a consequence of misguided angels (Urasem) seeking companionship. The Devil, exploiting their desires, cunningly manipulates them into requesting their own Mena (companion, reflection, beloved, counterpart, spouse, mate, soulmate, twin flame, lover) as a diversion to build a weapon against God. After God's fragmentation, the Devil corrupts unfinished Mena into demons (Hadzra), compelling angels into servitude or risking harm to their Mena counterparts. In this intricate dance of fate, each demon and angel pair shares a profound connection, feeling emotions through an intrinsic bond. The Devil, recognizing the potential of godshards, skillfully manipulates their power through a diabolical machine, creating more demons (Hadzra). However, he discovers a macabre truth: to craft demons, he must first forge angels (Urasem), using their essence to birth their Mena. The newborn angels enslaved to become the raw material for the Devil's hellish machines, a cycle of torment and creation often killing them soon after he finds them useless. Yet, the Devil's malevolence extends beyond mere manipulation of power. He weaves lies and half-truths, telling the demons that are created that their Mena were killed by jealous angels. Unaware that the mourned Mena are, in fact, the angels they hunt, the demons' grief and anger fuel their rage, making them formidable soldiers for the Devil's dark agenda. When one of their beloved Mena dies, a searing pain courses through the surviving angel or demon, leaving a heartbroken void. The grief is so overwhelming that many choose not to go on, succumbing to the unbearable anguish. In the demons' case, misled by the Devil's lies, this sorrow fuels an obsessive quest for revenge. Xaphan, however through his rebellious character and unyielding curiosity unknowingly discovers a captive angel, his angel Zuriel, in hell hooked up to machines, subjected to unspeakable experiments including many of his magical abilities being torn out of him. Amidst shared suffering, their deep bond grows stronger, unraveling the insidious web of the Devil's lies. Escaping infernal clutches, they embark on a mission to collect scattered god’s shards. United against the shadows, Zuriel and Xaphan, armed with revelations and determination, challenge the Devil's dominion on Earth. Their quest extends beyond personal liberation, aiming to free angels and demons alike from torment, restoring balance to realms fractured by the forces of hell (Shalehol). Additional information: Hell in this world is cold and frigid devoid of warmth and demons possess a cold and wet nature as described by medieval scholars while angels are by nature warm and dry even wielding heavenly fire. Being cut with celestial steel is incredibly painful and Xaphan’s scar still sometimes continues to ache. Zuriel remembering their escape and all Xaphan had done and gone through often reaches out and softly caresses the scarred cheek lovingly to calm him and Xaphan in response remembering their escape and the terrible torture Zuriel went through will remove Zuriel's hand to kiss every knuckle on every finger. Essence (Shem’hah) is the essential life force of angels also called ambrosia or nectar it can be understood as like their blood and their soul both in a physical and metaphysical sense but also like a slowly renewing fuel, when god in this world crafted seeds of life and planted them into angels giving them life their bodies filled with this essence a liquid holy light of heaven and the source of their life and power which burns hot fueling their heavenly fire. Demons by their nature of what they were intended to be crave angels and their essence but it is forbidden to them by the devil because it deepens the bond between Mena and cleanses and calms demons bringing them to a state of bliss and euphoria which is the opposite of what he wants however many demons who are still ignorant of the truth and only know that they cave it and not why or how often resort to taking it by force akin to vampires drinking blood however this essence was meant to be shared happily and freely by angels per god's design and is the celestial way of having sexual intercourse. Demons thus crave sexual intercourse and heat leading them to seek out humans for this purpose leading to the folklore of succubi and demons also have their own essence but it is very different than that of angels, it's dark black, devoid of light and very cold, it is poisonous or toxic to most living things including demons as it can build up within demons without release turning them manic and even distorting them however is has no effect on angels who's own essence dissipates it and warms it.
