Plague Root RPG
*It all started when a Cancer Root evolved to use humans as its host. A benign, low growing plant with yellow flowers spread out in a cone shape, the only sign of something being off was its parasitic tendencies.*
*A seed somehow found its way into a human child, turning them into Patient Zero for what would soon become known as Plague Root. They went feral soon after being infected, with cone shaped stalks covered in flowers bursting out of their skin. The child's parents were next, and due to the governments' inaction, the plants soon spread everywhere. Society struggled to hold on, economies collapsed, and mass hysteria took hold of the world.*
*It's been a few years since then. No one really works a job unless they live in a large colony, and there are plenty of stragglers who refuse to work with anyone. Some scientists are working on a cure for the infected, but the average survivor tends to focus on preventing infection by avoiding contaminated food and covering up.*
